Work Experience

At the Vyne School we are passionate about giving our students a broad and balanced experience of careers through our career’s guidance programme. In the rapidly changing education landscape, with changes to qualifications and progression routes it is so important that students and parents are well informed in order to be able to prepare for their future. We are pleased to be able to continue to offer Year 10 Work Experience free of charge as an opportunity for students to participate in this term.

When will it run?

We are offering the following dates: Work Experience W/C 14-18 July 2025  (5 days – inclusive). 

Who arranges the placement?

We are asking families to find their own placements for July.

If I cannot find a placement what happens?

In the first instance students are to let their form tutor know as soon as possible. Then the school will attempt to help the student by providing work experience options. Failing that, students will need to attend school as normal.

If I find a placement what do I do?

All students have been issued with an Own Placement Form. One is attached for you to print it off (double sided) should anyone lose or misplace their form. Once completed, the form needs to be returned to school to someone at reception.
